悪人正機（あくにんしょうき）
「悪人正機」とは、「悪人こそが阿弥陀如来の救いの本当のめあてである」という意味で、阿弥陀如来の慈悲のこころを表す言葉です。阿弥陀如来は、平等の慈悲心から、すべての生きとし生けるものに同じさとりを開かせたいという願いを発されました。だからこそ、この慈悲のこころは、今現に迷いの中で苦しんでいるものに注がれるのです。ですから、「悪人正機」という言葉を聴いて、悪事を犯してもかまわないと開き直ったり、悪いことをしたほうが救われると考えるのは、誤った受けとめかたです。経典には、この如来の慈悲が、《病に苦しんでいる子に特に注がれる親の愛情》にたとえて説かれています。
親鸞聖人は、このような阿弥陀如来の慈悲に出遇い、その慈悲が注がれているのは、他でもない煩悩に満ちあふれた自分自身であると受けとめられました。
私たちは毎日いろいろな生き物のいのちを奪いながら生きています。また、めぐり合わせによってはどんな恐ろしいことでもしてしまいます。このような私の姿に気付かせ、同時にそのまま救いとってくださるのが阿弥陀如来の慈悲であり、そのこころを表すのは「悪人正機」という言葉です。

The evil persons are the right object of Amida Buddha`s salvation
This thought is very meaningful in Jodo Shinshu doctrine, meaning'It is evil people who are the major object of salvation based on the Vow ofAmida Buddha (Primal Vow of Other Power).'
Shinran Shonin didn’t talk about people having an evil mind or to do bad things,but meant that we should be a person who can take responsibility without blaming others when something bad happens.
Amida Buddha's Primal Vow is a pledge and a wish to save all living creatures.
We live everyday by taking lives of other living things.
Depending on the circumstances, we could do terrifying things.
Amida Buddha help us see ourselves and help us as we are.
That is the benevolence of Amida Buddha and expressed in "the evil persons are the right object of Amida Buddha's salvation."
